Here’s the story.

For years, Denise built Honey of a Party into one of DFW’s go-to event styling businesses, crafting everything from baby showers to 75th birthdays. But behind the scenes, Jasmine was usually right there in the mix—throwing out wild concepts, designing graphics, mocking up renders, and helping tweak ideas until they were perfect.

It quickly became our normal. One of us would drop a thought, the other would say, “Okay wait, but what if we did THIS?!” and suddenly we’d built something neither of us would have pulled off solo.

Meanwhile, literally everyone kept telling us:

“You two need to go into business already.”
“Imagine if you combined your skills?”

Turns out… y’all were onto something. 🤨

Eventually, those late-night brainstorming sessions turned into ‘What if we actually built a brand together?‘

And so, Raire Event Co. was born.

So, why “Raire?”

I wish I could tell you we did months of high-level brand research and existential brainstorming to sound like total geniuses… but it’s pretty much as simple as it sounds.

Raire is a mashup of rare and faire.

A faire is a celebration. In its French roots, it’s actually all about making, creating, craftsmanship, and super intentional work. Combine that together with rare (one-of-a-kind and totally unique), and you get Raire 🙂 —the art of intentionally crafting rare, unforgettable celebrations!

That’s the exact idea we’re always chasing:

• Concepts you haven’t already seen a thousand times on Pinterest.
• The tiny, hyper-specific details most people overlook.
• The moments that make a guest stop, look closer, and go, “Wait… that is SO clever.”

That level of intention and detail is rare.

Or, ya know, “Raire.” 😉

It’s how we think, how we design, and now, it’s officially on the business cards.

Oh, we have so many plans.

You’re still getting the stunning balloon installations, custom backdrops, and lavish party styling you know and love—but Raire gives us the runway to do even more.

Honey of a Party will always be the foundation of our story.

It’s where we started this whole journey, so letting go of the name feels bittersweet (and full disclosure: Denise is still adjusting! 😅). That name holds years of her late nights, hard work, and incredible portfolio celebrating with all of you.

But stepping into this new season feels right. Raire gives us the space to dream bigger, push our creative boundaries, and build something we are proud of, together.

Thank you for trusting us with your big moments and constantly nagging us to just team up already. Turns out… you were right. 🩷
